How To Speak So That People Want To Listen

In the Ted video the speaker Julian Treasure talks about 7 habits that we need to move away from.
First one is gossip. We should not talk about person who is not present.This is not nice habit. Second We should not judge people while talking. Third is negativity. It is very hard to listen someone who is very negative. Forth point is we should stop complaining about everything. Speaker said Complaining does not spread sunshine and lightness in the world. next thing speaker talked about is excuses. We should stop making excuses and take responsibility for our actions.The sixth of the seven habits is exaggeration and lying. People do not want to listen to lies. And finally speaker talked about dogmatism, which means the confusions of facts and opinions.
In the next part of video speaker talked about four things that we need so that people listen to us. The explained this four thing in word HAIL. In which H stands for honestly, A stands for authenticity, I stands for integrity and word L stands for love.
